Days of Our Hot Model's Lives

Okay, I admit it!
I watch Days of Our Lives. I've watched it since highschool.
Is the story line getting out of hand? Or is it just me??? There are too many things about this desperate housewives' soap opera that bothers me, but to write about every single one of them is overkill. But what the heck. A few won't hurt, right?

Love scenes: Days must have the corniest loves scene in the history of corns. Does anyone actually find John's sweat infested carpet chest at all attractive? It's gross!! Anytime someone daydreams about sex, it always looks like a hippy kaleidoscope with smoke everywhere. WTF?!?!

Family Tree: Why is EVERYONE related to everyone and hooking up? Belle is John's daughter, who has hooked up with Philip, who is Kate's son, who is currently hooking up with John? Kate is married to Roman, who is having relations with Marlena (AKA DOC), who is married to John. Confused yet?

Eternal fountain of youth: No one ages. Kate has popped out 3 kids probably in their mid-late 30's, and 3 kids in their 20's, and yet looks and dresses like she's 35.

Finally, family photos: Does anyone else notice that when the characters are looking at photos of family members, they are ALL studio pictures? I have yet to see a picture of a family bbq, or a picture of a snowball fight, or one of a hot summer day. Nope. In every picture, everyone's hair is perfectly split/combed, salon make-up, and a perfect backdrop of gray marble. Seriously folks, do they expect us to believe that every Salemite only take studio pictures? Man, business must be booming at the little photo studio in downtown Salem Center.

Still, I'm glued to the tube when it comes to Days...help, please?

I am thankful that I am still sane even after watching Days of our Lives for the past 10+ years.
